1. About the service#

flows.md (flows.md) is a platform for writing in markdown and publishing pages on the web. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account and your @space#

You are responsible for the content you publish and for keeping your credentials secure. Usernames (@spaces) are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis; we reserve the right to reclaim names that are inactive, infringe third-party rights, or impersonate other people or brands.

We may reserve names or request that an @space name be changed or its use discontinued when necessary to protect the security of the service and its users, prevent confusion with official identities, respect third-party rights, or operate our infrastructure. This includes administrative and security names and associated email addresses, including on service subdomains. Where possible, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contest the decision; urgent risks may require immediate suspension of the name or address. Use of a name alone does not establish fraud. Withdrawing a name for security reasons does not imply transferring its mailbox or messages to another user.

3. Your content#

The content you create is yours. You grant us only the license needed to store and display it according to the visibility settings you choose (public or private). You can copy and export your content as markdown at any time.

4. Acceptable use#

You may not use flows.md for illegal content, spam, phishing, malware, harassment, or copyright infringement. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Plans and payments#

The free plan exists and will continue to exist. Paid plans, when purchased, are billed on a recurring basis and can be cancelled at any time — access to paid features remains until the end of the period already paid for.

6. Availability and changes#

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change these terms; relevant changes will be announced on the site.

Privacy Policy#

1. What data we collect#

To create an account, we collect your email and username. The content you write is stored on our servers so we can display it according to your visibility settings.

2. Analytics#

We use Google Analytics to understand site usage (pages visited, traffic sources). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.

Pages of a claimed space also count their own visits, for their author: how many times a page was opened, by how many visitors, and which of its links were followed, by day. This is counted with no cookie. To tell a second visit from a first, your address and browser are turned into a code with a random key that is discarded within two days; the code itself is kept for one day and never stored with the counts. Nothing about who visited is kept, and the counts are not shared with anybody but the page's author.

3. How we use your data#

We use your data exclusively to operate the service: authentication, syncing across devices, collaboration, and communication about your account. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Content visibility#

Public pages are accessible to anyone with the URL and may be indexed by search engines. Private pages are accessible only to you and the people you invite.

5. Your rights#

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. When you delete your account, your content and personal data are removed from our active systems.
