# Inbox

Your space has a mail address: its name on the `inbox.flows.md` domain. The space `@ana` receives at `ana@inbox.flows.md`, and everything that arrives lands in the **Inbox**, the space's first row in the sidebar. Only the space's owner reads the Inbox, even when the space is shared.

## Aliases

An alias is another address of the same Inbox: `ana+news@inbox.flows.md`, `ana+receipts@inbox.flows.md`. It filters — "Received at" shows only what came through it — and gives each place you sign up to an address of its own. Create one in **Addresses**, in the Inbox itself: it asks only for a name (lowercase letters, digits and hyphens).

The whole address before the `@` fits in 64 bytes; an alias too long for the space's name is refused, never cut short.

## New senders

A registered alias takes mail from anybody: handing out `+news` is asking for the newsletters. The main address, and an alias you did not register, take mail straight in only from you and from senders you approved — and only when the sender's domain vouches for it (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Anybody else's first mail waits at the top of the Inbox itself, under **New senders**: kept, not counted against your plan, and nobody is answered. Right there you **accept** the sender (their next mail comes straight to the Inbox) or **block** them (their next mail is dropped).

## A mail becomes a page

"Save as page" picks the place in the sidebar's own tree. The page is born **private**, with the subject, the sender, the date and the mail's text. An alias can be **connected** to a page: from then on, what it receives is also saved there. The mail stays in the Inbox; changing the page, or going back to "filter only", leaves the pages already made where they are.

## What never happens

- Nothing arrives published: every page made from a mail is born private.
- Opening a mail does not tell the sender: outside pictures become links, and tracking pixels are gone. The original, pictures and all, opens apart, isolated, and loads pictures only when you ask.
- A mail runs nothing on your page: blocks and components written by the sender show as text.

## Agents (MCP)

A connected agent reads the Inbox only if you ticked **"Read my Inbox"** when connecting it. Then it searches, reads and opens attachments — verification codes and sign-in links included. Without it, it sees no mail, and no page saved from one.
